The series “Inside” comes from a personal experience, is an “inner vision” that tells a deep solitude, something that makes all equals.
The X-ray plates disclose a sort of solid soul, that erase our differences, like “male” or “female”.Over that surface a dimension is plotted, the substance of a nature: the human one.
Giulio Gonella aims, through the camera to expose his subjects’ with their own body. Over that surface, a dimension is plotted disclosing a substratum – the substance of a nature, something human that, as exposed as it appears, is constituted by the interior of the subject’s identity.
